Medieval Month at Raglan !!
In addition to jousting, parties, & fun, there's a Tarot Card Hunt !!
Start here the first card is on a bench in the square in front of the Castle. When you touch it, you'll get a folder that has the card and a prize!! Watch your chat, the card will also give you a hint to the next card...
In this case, I don't want you to get lost... so here's the hint from the first card ....
in the Heron forest, there is a tree of birds, find the Magician there
Open your map and find Heron Shire. Oh gee, it's almost all trees!! But here the rules of the hunt are a big help... Cards will only be found in Public Spaces... and in Heron, most of the public spaces are around the edges of the forest. Hint: You can turn on the parcel radio and use it as a guide for when you step off public areas.
By the time you find all 22 cards, you'll find places in Raglan Shire you never knew existed. Here I find the tree full of birds in Heron Forest & the Magician card...
Follow the trail of clues like a bird on breadcrumbs. Each clue has a very clear description of which sim, if you get confused, use the SL map to look at all the sims, you'll see pretty soon where to go next !!
And finally, I can't leave you without a view of something I didn't even know existed at Raglan... but it's where they hid "my card" or the card with my photo on it...
An amazing build... part of the amazing sims of Raglan Shire.
Don't forget there's 22 total cards, from Zero "The Fool" to #21 "The World." Collect em all!! The swag inside is marvelous!!!

Hmmm, we received an invitation to Tiny Regatta through New Babbage Sim.
6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. -- Saturday 27 August 2011 as part of Wulfenbach Consulate Game Day
Their invitation read "Come as a tiny, and bring your tiny boat to [Our Sim to Kick our Butts]... Don't have a boat or a tiny avatar? Free ones will be available. First three participants to reach the finish line will get a prize!" hat tip Stereo Nacht !!

Running with Scissors by Druscilla Ferraris ~ Druscilla's Whim
*Everybody* was playing with these last week... I got to see my first pair in action on LadyMaverick OHare, one of Raglan Shire's newest Artisans. She's only been selling since ArtWalk! Here LadyM runs with scissors while a tiny flash mob shows up to get a Midnight Mania board over the top !! She made her outfit, with hair by Emilia Redgrave ~ Redgrave Fashion & avatar by Wynx Whiplash ~ Extrovirtual.
So after Midnite Mania, LadyM showed me several of her other creations... All feature Tartans, the clan plaids of ancient days. And all have a nifty feature in the sleeves; they're made so your arms do not pop out while dancing !!
After this I had to see her store. Just making/selling since Artwalk? Fast learning curve!! So off I went to
Tiny TRTL ~ shop and Turtle Sanctuary, floating high above Raglan Commons
also known as the Tartan Palace. Every inch is covered in Plaid!! She has just begun obviously, but a fast start and lovely clothes for both male and female tinies & Freebies !! 
Here LadyM shows me a lovely red plaid Brody Tartan outfit that she made which includes the hat, boots, buckles as well as the clothes. (Posing at Ivory Tower of Primitives) She's off and running to a great start, with Scisssors !!
